[I can’t recognize who is the author(s) of this piece. I just collected it during my sophomore year in college. But whoever he/she(they may be) thanks. It serve as reminder and guidance for anyone who can relate. The title is not so exact. Enjoy!]

A true love can bear the longitude of waiting even if it takes forever. When confused about love, follow your heart. It may not always be right, but you will have the memories to make you smile. If your head tells you one thing and your heart tells you another thing, before you decide, you should first think, whether you have a better head or heart. It’s okay to kiss a fool or let a fool kiss you, but never let the kiss fool you. Don’t find love, let it find you, that is why it is called falling in love, because you never force your heart to fall.  Never be ashamed to show love when you feel it, someday, you might realized that love is already afraid to show itself to you. Girls are like angels, they can easily forgive and forget. While men are like devils, they easily get and forget. To love someone is to have courage, to walk away and let go the other one who wishes to be free.

No matter how much it hurts, never say “I love you” when you don’t even care. Never play about feelings if they aren’t there. Never touch a heart if you meant to break it. Never look in the eyes if it tells you to say goodbye. Love is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it eludes you, but if you let it fly, it would come to you when the least you expect. On the course of love, people must teach their heart to be brave enough to let go when somebody realized when things are not meant after all. Most relationship are like traffic signs: ONE WAY, TWO WAY, DO NOT ENTER, SLIPPERY WHEN WET, NO “U” TURN, NO LEFT TURN OR RIGHT TURN”, but what I like the most is to “give way”.

Words and heart should be handled with care, for when words are spoken and heart got broken, are the hardest thing to be repaired. The simple “pick up lines” doesn’t have words. All I need is “I” for me to say, “LOVE”, for me to share, “YOU” for me to give it. Don’t share your tears to someone who hurt you. Don’t long for the person if they left. Don’t tell sorry if you fail when you try your best. “Someone out there is more deserving for your time and love.” If I tell you “I love you”, you should wonder or how? Or, since when?; or for how long? Because I wouldn’t have single answer except to tell you again. In the game of love, it doesn’t matter who will win or lose, what is important is that you know when “to hold on” and when “to let go”. It’s the presence of the soul that makes you alive. If your heart get broken by the time you truly love. Don’t let go of love for the person, but let go of the person. You’ll never know, love might be sweeter the second time around.

It’s hard to find true love, people are too caught up looking for the perfect person. They don’t realized that love is not finding the perfect person, but being a perfect person to someone else. Love knows no reason, love knows life, love differs all reason, love has no eyes, but love is not blind. They can see, but they don’t mind. We are sometimes afraid to say “I Love You”, instead we say, I miss you and often misunderstood, leaving the one we love, which you don’t realized, he/she also having the feeling like yours. Love, because the person is the only one, but, because, the person is the one for you are willing to give up everything, it’s worth fighting for. It’s hard to pretend you love someone “that you don’t love” than “the one you really love”.

Once you had loved, for what is on your mind may escape, but, what’s in your heart will always remain forever. Love is not how to forget, but rather how to forgive. It’s not how you listen, but how you understand. Not by what you say, but what you received and what you can give. True love wants a person to be happy, even if you won’t be the one that the person will his/her happiness with. If you love someone, don’t hold back, never hide your feelings. Never economize your love and never take the person for granted, because you will never value what you have until it’s gone. Sometimes, we think that loving someone is can be such a risky thing. How else would you win if you don’t take chances? You don’t lose by giving, you lose by holding back.

Never try to impress someone to make him/her fall in love with you, because when you do, you will have to keep the standard for the rest of your life. Never rush in love, for it never runs out. Let love be the one to look for you, so that when you start to fall. You will always know that the feeling is sure. Yes! It drives you crazy. It makes you mad, jealous, sad; it even cause you sleepless night, break your heart… Well, come to think of it! It is healthy to fall in love. True, not when the heart beats faster or fastest, but when it beat no more and the love is still there. If you have the reason why you love the person, then you are using your mind. But if you love the person with no reason at all, then you are using your heart.

Love is not a word to say when you feel guilty, it’s not a right word to say when you like a person, but, love really matters when you share your thoughts in mind and heart. “How do I say goodbye to someone I never hold? Why do I fate to fall to someone who was never really mine? Why do I miss someone I was never been with? Why do I love someone whose love was never been truly mine? Don’t be too good, I might miss you; don’t be so caring I might like you. Don’t be too sweet, baka langgamin tayo! Este.. I might in love with you! It is for me to love you when you don’t love me after all… There is always a reason why we have to move on, when we have to say goodbye. We wanted to stay forever, let us not have our hands with a heavy heart. For love will have to set it’s wings, free and find the place where it belongs.

Love comes, and when it comes, it goes, and when it goes it hurts. But when it hurts, love some more ‘til it hurts no more. This reminds you that love does not die, it only passes you by.
